“Coral Gaze” – Family Watercolor Workshop: April 11th or 20th – $18
March’s Family Watercolor Workshop, Coral Gaze, will be happening on the 11th or 20th of April. Join us to create this tropical fish from our Florida Keys’ reef! These fish swim around a colorful habitat to attract attention of other fish, or art admirers. Choose how to paint your reef scene during our guided watercolor painting classes.
Draw with oil pastels and then paint with watercolors during this fun “Coral Gaze” reef scene workshops. This project is fun, fast, and bright, and great for families and groups looking for activities everybody can participate in this spring season! Artists will start your fish with pencil and oil pastels, and then transition quickly into the unlimited rainbow of watercolor paints. The oil pastels resist the liquid in the water colors, keeping puddles of paint where you place them, until you add salt, creating an immediate reaction of colors. This leads to a very bright art piece. Reservations are required and class size is limited to 12. Cost is $18. Call 305-289-9013 for your spot! Projects are ready to take home from the class!
